As a leader in the field of supply and conversion of shipping containers, 1st Containers were contracted by the leading international company Jet Aviation. With their UK base at Biggin Hill Airport, they required a specially converted container to be accessible at London Stansted Airport. Jet Aviation contacted 1st Containers with their requirements, and with our in-house expertise with container conversions we were able to deliver the perfect solution and keep costs to a minimum as all work was carried out under the one umbrella of 1st Containers.
Jet Aviation required a converted container to be positioned at London Stansted Airport to be used with their small jets. This container firstly needed the added extra of a generator. The 1st Containers technical team got to work on the project straightaway and soon had the shipping container converted with all relevant power supplies, with all health and safety checks carried out. Apart from the addition of a generator being added to the container, the container required by Jet Aviation also needed to be soundproofed. Another task carried out professionally by our in-house technical team. Once the conversion was complete, 1st Containers were able to transport and off-load the container to London Stansted Airport. At its destination, our technicians were on hand to setup the container for operation, and to give full instructions to the Jet Aviation team on operation of all parts of the unit with its generator.
